Save a Search Result

This procedure saves the query, parameters, sequences, etc., and the corresponding substance details in the file that you designate.

Note: Each result is also saved automatically in the Result Set Manager until the limit of 100 result sets is reached.

To save a search result:

  1. View a result.

    The result displays in the CAS Registry BLAST® Report window.

  2. Select File > Save As.

    The Save File As dialog displays.

  3. Enter a name and save the file as a text (.txt) file or an HTML (.htm or .html) file.

    Your input search query and parameters, result sequences and details, result summary, and search statistics are saved.
