Clear a Label

STN^® AnaVist^TM allows you to clear a label, that is, to "unapply" or take the label off of all documents it is currently applied to.

Clearing a label has these effects:

• The label is cleared from all documents with that label in the project
• The label remains among the labels available to be applied within the project

Note: You can clear a label only from the Labels Chart.

To clear a label:

1. On the Labels chart, choose a label you want to clear.

2. Right-click on the label and select Clear Label.

   A message asking you to confirm the clearing displays.

3. Click either:
   • OK to clear the label
   • Cancel to cancel the clearing of the label
