Remove a Label

STN^® AnaVist^TM allows you to remove a label, that is, to "unapply" or take the label off of an individual document that it is currently applied to.

Removing a label differs from both clearing a label and deleting a label. Clearing a label means "unapplying" or taking a label off of all documents it is currently applied to, while keeping the label as part of the label set for the visualization project. Deleting a label means deleting it from the visualization project, so that the label is no longer available to be applied.

Removing a label has these effects:

• The label is removed from an individual document with that label
• The label remains among the labels available to be applied within the project

Note: You can remove a label from a document on the Documents viewer or Details viewer.

To remove a label:

1. Choose a labeled document on one of these charts:

   • Documents viewer
   • Details viewer
   
   
2. Right-click and select Remove Label.

   The Remove Label dialog box displays.

3. Check one or more labels to remove, and then click either:
   • 
     
   • OK to remove the label
   • Cancel to cancel the removal of the label
